Technician SupervisorHeather P.
Heather, our Technician Supervisor, has been a part of our VCA Leon Springs Family since 2000. Her extensive experience in the field is invaluable to our practice! "My favorite part about my job is the way that I get to see the unique relationships that each of our clients has with their own pets." says Heather. At home, Heather is the proud mother of a feisty toddler and has many furry children.
Erica has been a member of our VCA Leon Springs team since 2012. In addition to her work here at our hospital, she also has worked as a technician in an emergency veterinary facility - and has over 16 years of experience! At home, she and her fiancee have two young boys, Caden and Chase, who keep them very busy! The family also has three tiny members...Falkor, Leo and Jeter - a trio of rats! "They are incredibly smart!" says Erica. "All three are litter trained, come when their name is called, and know several tricks!" In her spare time, Erica enjoys traveling to the beach, hiking, and cleaning!
Issac joined the VCA Leon Springs team in the Summer of 2014 after moving to San Antonio from South Texas. He and his wife have two Shih Tzu mixes named Oliver and Garcia, as well as two kitties, Minnie and CJ. When not at work, Issac enjoys keeping up with the Houston Astros and cooking.
Ciera has been with us since December of 2013. Although she had initially been pursuing a career in human medicine, Ciera has recently decided to instead, help pets through veterinary medicine. She has a great love for animals, and has experience at our hospital both in client service as well as a technician. In the future, she plans to follow this passion and attend Veterinary School. At home, she and her boyfriend are the proud pet-parents of a beautiful (and absolutely spoiled rotten) Pyrenees mix named Dustin and a kitty named Taos.
Mary joined our team in 2012. She was a previous kennel manager for a local boarding facility in Alamo Heights. Mary aspires to become a registered veterinary technician and is currently working toward her certification.
Jennifer joined our practice in the summer of 2014 after moving from Laredo, Texas. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science & Sociology as well as a masters degree in Public Administration. In addition, she has over 10 years experience in the veterinary field. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys shooting photography, and spending time at the ranch. At home, she has three dogs... Luna - a blue heeler, Olivia - a wheaten terrier and Mambo - a Rhodesian ridgeback...and two cats - Mousey and Ms. Kitty.
