Veterinary Support

  • Technician Supervisor

    Heather P.

Heather has been with us since 2000 and works as our tech supervisor. Heather is the proud mother of a feisty toddler and has many furry children. She works to ensure accuracy and consistency in everything that she does and treats every patient as though they were her own.

  • Technician

    Benjamin B

Ben joined our VCA Leon Springs team in November of 2004. He has several pets of his own at home, and three daughters who keep him busy!

  • Technician

    Erica G

Erica rejoined our practice in 2012 after taking some time off to be Mom.  She has several years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine in addition to her experience in general practice.  At home, she is mom to two rambunctious young boys.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Megan M

Megan transferred into our practice in April of 2013, coming all the way from another VCA hospital in Vancouver, WA where she had been working as an assistant and then technician for almost 4 1/2 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on or near the water with her fiancee and their two dog-children - Nova, a silly 7 year old black lab, and Lucy, a rescued red doberman pinscher puppy.

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you. Our specialized services include: behavior, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery.
