    Ashley A
    School: University of Texas at San Antonio, Bachelor of Science - Biology

    Ashley joined our VCA Leon Springs family in the fall of 2015. She was born and raised right here in San Antonio, Texas and has three younger brothers. At home, Ashley is the proud pet-parent of two spoiled puppies… Buddy, a 2 year old pit-mix and Lily, a 3 year old Shi Tzu. “I love hanging out with my fur-babies!” says Ashley. “One of our favorite things to do on the weekend is head out to a local park and hit the trails. We especially love going to Phil Hardberger park.” Ashley is following a lifelong passion for animals and is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. “It keeps me very busy!” she says. “But I love every minute of it.” When she isn’t busy at work or school, Ashley enjoys kicking back to relax and catch up on some of her favorite Netflix shows with her pups.

    Dana D-H
    School: Texas State University, Bachelor of Arts - Interior Design

    Dana holds a degree in Interior Design from Texas State University. Following her graduation, she took a break from the design field as she and her husband relocated to San Antonio so that he could attend the UT Health Science Center of San Antonio's Dental School. Dana accepted a receptionist position with VCA Leon Springs in the spring of 2012, and although her deviation from the design field was intended to be brief, she fell in love with her co-workers and has been with our VCA Leon Springs family for over three years! She enjoys utilizing her creative talents to maintain the hospital's Facebook page and publish a quarterly newsletter. At home, she and her husband are the proud pet-parents of a spoiled Bengal cat, Rajah. In her spare time, Dana enjoys running, reading (particularly J.R.R. Tolkien), cooking and creating art.

    Jessica G
    School: Wayland Baptist University, Bachelor of Applied Science with a Concentration in Biology

    Jessica joined our VCA Leon Springs family in the Spring of 2014 after relocating to San Antonio with her husband from Alaska. “Alaska will always feel like home” Jess says. “But growing up as an active-duty Air Force kid allowed me the opportunity to live in a variety of places throughout my childhood!” These experiences helped instill in her a deep love of travel, and an easy-going nature. Jessica recently graduated from Wayland Baptist University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Science. At home, she and her husband have two fur-babies… Grace, a 4 year old yellow lab, and Piper, a 2 year old black lab. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys hiking, papercrafting and swimming competitively with the San Antonio Masters swimming program.

    School: University of Texas at San Antonio, Psychology

    Gracie has been with VCA Leon Springs since Spring of 2014. She joined our practice afer moving to San Antonio from San Francisco. She is currently a junior at UTSA studying psychology with a pre-veterinary medicine emphasis. One day, she aspires to become a veterinarian and to help as many animals as she can. Gracie is the proud pet-parent of two miniature poodles, Sparky and Lucky. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, playing tennis and having fun with her pups!

    Brittany W
    School: University of Texas at San Antonio, Dual Major in Biology & Psychology, Minor in Music Theory & Comp

    Brittany is currently enrolled as a Junior at UTSA, and is pursuing a dual-major degree in Biology and Psychology, with a minor in Music Theory and Composition. She has been a member of our VCA Leon Springs family since 2012, and her bubbly personality is sure to bring a smile to you the moment you walk through our doors. At home, she and her boyfriend are the proud pet-parents of two puppy dogs �" Sox, a 4 year old corgie/chow mix, and Puppai, a 4 year old retriever mix. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys reading (especially Edgar Allen Poe), listening to music, baking and traveling back to her hometown of Katy, Texas. Upon her graduation, Brittany hopes to become involved with the US Army, and work with military working dogs.
