Dr. Brooks was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended grammar school at St. Paul’s Episcopal in Lakeview and high school at Louise S. McGehee. She received a B.S. in Biology from George Washington University and her D.V.M from Louisiana State University. She is happy to be back in New Orleans as she begins her career as a veterinarian. She feels privileged to be a part of the VCA Causeway Animal Hospital and to work with such esteemed colleagues and staff. She currently lives in Lakeview with her husband and her furry canine-kids, Chloe, Molly, Freckles, and Tux. In her free time, Dr. Brooks enjoys running, cooking, and exploring City Park with her dogs.
