Dixie and Aristotle
Virginia Stafford from Metairie

I just wanted to make sure to call out VCA Causeway Animal Hospital for going above and beyond for these kittens and they did it again today!
Aristotle (Ari) hasnt been feeling well the last couple of days. He seems to 'run hot but he seemed to me to be hotter than usual. I am not making money like I used to so going to the vet is kind of a huge financial issue for me right now. I called the vet and told the doctor was Aris symptoms are and they advised me to bring him in. HE HAS A FEVER OF 104.2! Tested negative for feline leukemia and feline aids (tested for it because he was a stray for the initial weeks of his life) The determination is that its a fever of 'unknown origin They sent me home with Ari and 10 days work of antibiotics just to be safeTHESE DOCTORS ARE AMAZING, the staff is extremely helpful and I was lucky enough to find them when these sweet kitties needed help the most! Check out the Whole Foods Blog about the kittens and their journey to wellness:
