Caitlyn Carroll, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, University of Tennessee

Dr. Caitlyn Carroll was born and raised on her family's horse farm in Kentucky.  Caitlyn's love of animals was obvious from an early age when she brought home injured calves, rats, kittens, dogs, lightening bugs, and any others in need of saving or being nursed back to health.  She competed in horse shows throughout her life, which led her to attend and ride for the College of Charleston Equestrian Team.  Dr. Carroll continued to follow her love of animals to the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Carroll practiced small animal veterinary medicine for six years in Nashville, Tennessee before moving to Wilmington.  She enjoys watching her Kentucky Wildcats, music, traveling the world, and spending time with her family and friends.  It's likely that if Caitlyn isn't caring for others, she is walking or boating with her own rescued fur children, Shrimp, a 4-year-old Miniature Dachshund and Ellie, who is a graceful 8-year-old Great Dane.
