Vaccine Requirements and Recommendations

The following are REQUIRED for boarding. A booster vaccine (one received in the past and is not overdue past 13 months) should be done no less than 3 days prior to boarding. Any new vaccine should be done no less than 7-10 days prior to boarding. 

• Rabies – a copy of a Rabies Certificate is needed.
• Distemper combo 
• Bordetella
• Bivalent Influenza – (different than the Parainfluenza)

The following are highly RECOMMENDED for boarding pets. These help ensure your pet is further protected from potential exposures.

• Leptospirosis 
• Flea and Tick Prevention – Boarding pets are at an increased risk for picking up fleas, and because we take dogs out for walks, also ticks. 
• Fecal Test – It is important to know your pet is clean from any intestinal parasites each year.

For cat boarding, the following vaccinations are REQUIRED and must be completed at least 72 hours prior to boarding.

• FVRC-P
• Rabies

Grooming Policies

We do not allow walk-ins and only offer grooming by appointment only. Pricing varies by dog size, coat, cut, and condition. Additionally, we are happy to offer discounts for re-booking clients.
