Dr. Braunstein received his B.S. in Biology from Kansas State University in 1973 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He was mentored by Dr. Huisheng Xie and graduated from the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida with a Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture.

Dr. Braunstein previously hailed from Pennsylvania where he established Pleasant View Veterinary Clinic and later grew his practice to include Juniata Veterinary Clinic. Fortunately, he moved to Texas as soon as he could and resides here with multiple dogs and cats and a beautiful lady named Sara.
