We provide veterinary services for every stage in your pet's life, from their first shots to a lifetime of preventive care to keep them happy and healthy.

Our services don't end at our hospital doors.  As a member of the VCA family, our veterinarians have access to extensive medical resources, not the least of which is the VCA knowledge base, which allows our doctors to tap into the collected knowledge of over 2,000 VCA veterinarians.

And if your pet ever needs truly advanced veterinary care, VCA Specialty Hospitals are ready to help.  These twenty-eight clinics provide state-of-the-art care in orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, advanced oncology, and even such cutting-edge treatments as stem cell therapy.

The friendly, professional staff at VCA Animal Hospital is made up of dedicated individuals who have made it their mission to help pets live long, healthy lives.  To be true to the mission, the hospital team relies on several individuals, each equally important in helping us deliver the best patient and client experience for both you and your pet.  And if things get complicated, we are fortunate to have access to the nation's largest network of VCA veterinarians and board-certified specialists.

Well handled
Jennifer Trew from Richmond

I only had to bring my thirteen year old dog James in twice.

The first time was on a panic filled Saturday morning after I noticed his hind leg had swollen to twice it's normal size. This was shortly after finding a lump in the same leg. After testing we found that it was an aggressive form of cancer.

A week later we brought him back. I have to give full marks to the team at VCA Pets First. We were ushered into a room as soon as we arrived, we were allowed time with my sweet beast and when it was time for him to slip away, the Vet and assistant quietly allowed him the grace and dignity that he failed to live his life with (He ran into door frames and walls fairly often, not very graceful).

When it was over they left us alone to say good bye and once we were able to leave we were ushered out a side door.

Thank you guys for not making an extremely difficult time in my life any harder.
