Biography

Dr. Paul Smail, originally from Madison, Wisconsin, has been the medical director of VCA North Atlanta Animal Hospital since 2008. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from The Florida State University, Dr. Smail graduated with honors from The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Smail’s interests include dentistry, geriatric medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Paul Smail is married to Dr. Nicole Smail, a pediatrician for PAMPA. They have two children, Gavin and Sophia. Dr. Smail also has two dogs, Bailey and Bosco. He enjoys watching football, playing tennis and golf, and exploring Atlanta with his family.
