Primary Care

Intensive Care

We have 15 generously sized stainless steel cages throughout two ICU suites for pets that need 24 hour supervision while recovering from illness or emergency surgery. We also have 6 hospital runs in ICU number 2 for the larger dog who is recuperating. Our Intensive Care Units are staffed 24 hours a day with doctors and veterinary technicians. We have a dedicated Intensive Care Isolation Room for pets with infectious diseases who should be kept separate from other pets, but where can still monitor the patient medically. Our isolation room has a dedicated room-only heating system to ensure that the injured or critically ill patient is kept warm with a higher room temperature than the surrounding rooms, thus ensuring that the patients body temperature is maintained as close as possible to the normal body temperature for dogs and cats of 101-103 F.
