VCA Becker Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is teaming up with Texas Specialty Veterinary Services to provide rehabilitation to orthopedic surgical patients, geriatric pets, and any other pets that would benefit from rehabilitation.
Kim Barrier, CCRVN started Texas Specialty Veterinary Services Rehabilitation and Conditioning with Dr. Justin Harper in January of 2020. She travels to clients homes and other veterinary clinics providing rehab and instructing clients on how to better support their pets through orthopedic surgery or other disease processes.
Kim will now be offering her services to VCA Becker clients and pets. She will have weekly appointments where the owners get to stay with the pets and learn how to perform recommended rehab for their pet at home. VCA Becker will be offering rehabilitation packages with Kim in our clinic. These packages include 1 consult and 6 visits. Every pet’s needs are different and Kim will work with you and your pet to provide a specialized treatment plan that includes a combination of several rehabilitation techniques and modalities. Each visit could include the following rehabilitation modalities:
