Receptionist SupervisorAngela Smith
"I've been a technician for over 16 years and have loved every minute of it!" Angela has a huge family at home most of whom are furry. She has a husband (Mike), three boys (Louis-17, Domingo-11, and Zachary-8), four dogs (Walter, Psalms, Grace, and Sirius), four cats (Jeffrey, Snoopy, Andy, and Kissers), and a ferret named Mr. Stinky. Angela has extensive experience in the field, she's worked with large animals, exotics, avian, and hand raised many wild birds, opossums, and deer. She started her career originally with us at VCA Mission Animal Hospital where she began her training in the grooming and bathing department before moving on to the technician department. She then went on to work at several emergency clinics and other veterinary hospitals. In September 2008 she thankfully came back to us. She works part time as a receptionist and heads our stray/adoption program. "I love my job and all of my fellow employees, we're like a family. Being a Veterinary Technician has been a great adventure. How many people can truly say that about where they work?"
