Receptionist SupervisorAngela Garcia
"I've been in this field for over 20 years now and have loved every minute of it!" Angela has extensive experience in the field, she has worked with large animals, exotics, avians, and has hand raised many wild birds, opossums, skunks and deer. She started her career originally with us at Mission Animal Hospital over 20 years ago, where she began her training in the grooming and bathing department before moving on to the technician department. She then went on to work at several emergency clinics and other veterinary hospitals. In September 2008 she thankfully came back to us. She is now our lead receptionist and helps with our stray/adoption program. She shares her home with several furry babies including 3 dogs (Gracie, Buddy and Rusty) and 5 cats (Snoopy, Andy, Mysterio, Dale and Jr.) Speaking of her furry family, She also lives with her boyfriend Evan and her two youngest boys Domingo and Zachary. She has an older son named Louis and his fiancé Seth that come to visit often as well. She is a very dedicated mother and loves to spend time with her family fishing camping or just hanging out in the back yard watching her family play. "I LOVE my job and all of my fellow employees, we're like a family! Being in the Veterinary field has been a great adventure and tons of fun. How many people can truly say that about where they work?"
