  • Veterinary Assistant

    Alexis Tetrick
    Veterinary Tech School: Penn Foster

Alexis joined the VCA LAH team in December 2013.  She transferred to us from VCA East Anchorage.  Alexis also volunteered with the humane society for 2 years and worked in dairy at Berry College for 2 years.  She was an Animal Science Major at Berry College for 2 years and is currently enrolled at Penn Foster in the Veterinary Technician program.

Alexis is the proud pet parent of a 1 year old Golden Retriever/Husky Mix named Ruby.  She enjoys going to the park with her husband and dog on her off days.

"I enjoy working with animals because it is a challenge.  You only have so much information to go on and pets can't tell us exactly what might be bothering them.  I like that we are essentially the voice for pets in guiding owners of what their pet needs.  I also have simply always had a strong love & desire to work with animals and people that share my passion."
