    Vanessa Franco
    Veterinary Tech School: Gwinnett Technical College

    Vanessa is our newest addition to the VCA Lilburn Animal Hospital family.  She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Gwinnett Tech in May 2012.  Vanessa grew up in New York and has been living in Georgia since 2006.  She attended Collins Hill High School. 

    Vanessa has 2 dogs, Nemo is a 7 year old poodle, and Buzz is a 1 1/2 year old long hair chihuahua.  The reasons Vanessa enjoys working at LAH is because there are many hands on tasks she can take part in.  Also, there are always new topics to expand her knowledge!  In her spare time she loves baking cakes, cookies, and cupcakes.  She also enjoys spending time with her dogs and family. 


  • Veterinary Assistant Supervisor

    Dana Walker

    Dana is a native of Goergia, and has been working in the animal field since she was 18 years old.  Dana recently transferred from VCA Falcon Village Animal Hospital to VCA Lilburn as our vet tech supervisor.  We are so excited to have Dana as part of the team! 

    When not working, she enjoys spending time with her beagle"Ben" , "Lilly" the cat and "Houdini" a ball python snake.  She also enjojs spending time with her niece, going to the park and playing her violin.  Dana also welcomed her first child, Andrew Walker, in December 2012.  He is an adorable little boy!  Dana returns from maternity leave in February.

    Cindy Wang

    Cindy is the most recent member of our team joining us in September 2010. Cindy is originally from Cary, North Carolina. Previously, Cindy worked at Falcon Bridge Animal Hospital as a vet assistant from 2007-2010.

    Cindy has a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cindy is also a member of The Marine Mammal Center based in Sausalito, CA. She has a 4 year old cat named Pancake and a 2 year old Mini Lop bunny named Pocus.

    Cindy enjoys meeting our clients and seeing their new pets grow up. She also has fun working with the other staff members. Cindy enjoys singing, cooking, swimming, tennis and learning new languages. She is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin!

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Nate Elliscu

    Welcome Nate-our new technical supervisor! Nate has been with VCA LAH since August 2011. He comes to us with a strong background in veterinary medicine. Nate has worked in emergency, specialty and general practice veterinary hospitals.

    Nate has 2 dogs, Cassidy a 10 year old Aussie mix and Pixie, a 1 year old Chiweenie. He also has 2 short hair kitties named Foxy and Soxy.

    Nate enjoys live music, going to shows or playing them. He plays the mandolin, guitar and banjo. He also enjoys watching his Minnesota teams, the Vikings & the Twins. Nate's wife is Katie and they have 3 children, Kyla-15, Ivy-6 and Ryder-2.
