"As a young girl, I was always attracted to animals and knew I wanted to work with them when I became an adult to make a difference in their lives. At VCA Lewis, I have that opportunity to interact with pets and educate their owners on how to properly care for their family member. I enjoy working with individuals who recognize the importance of practicing quality medicine and showing compassion."

Veterinary AssistantPhilip Rosier
"I work in the animal care field because animals have been a major part of my life, for as long as I can remember. I have always had pets and I have always loved caring for them. My pets have included reptiles, arachnids, fish, birds, felines, canines, rodents, and crustaceans. My love for animals led to my professional work in a shelter and working for disaster relief efforts. I enjoy my current employment at the VCA because it is nice working with pets with caring owners, especially after working with animals that were unhappy and displaced. My goal has always been to help animals and see them get better. I always strive to learn more about the animal care field."
