New to VCA?

We provide veterinary services for every stage in your pet's life, from their first shots to a lifetime of preventive care to keep them happy and healthy.

Our services don't end when you exit our hospital doors.  As a member of the VCA family, our veterinarians have access to extensive medical resources, not the least of which is the VCA knowledge base, which allows our doctors to tap into the collected knowledge of over 2,000 VCA veterinarians.

And if your pet ever needs truly advanced veterinary care, VCA Specialty Hospitals are ready to help. These twenty-eight clinics provide state-of-the-art care in orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, advanced oncology, and even such cutting-edge treatments as stem cell therapy.

The friendly, professional staff at VCA Lewis Animal Hospital is made up of dedicated individuals who have made it their mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. To be true to this mission the hospital team relies on several individuals, where each team member is equally important in helping us deliver the best patient and client experience for both you and your pet.

And if things get very complicated, we are fortunate to have access to the nation's largest network of VCA veterinarians and board certified specialists. In a word: TEAMWORK!

Teamwork is a constant in our daily practice. From the very first person you speak to to the person who checks you and your pet out, our team of pet lovers works cohesively to create a warm and welcoming experience for both you and your pet.

The Best
Hillary from Ellicott City

I have 2 poodle mixes, Grace is almost 8-years old, and Bella is 4 years-old. Both Grace and Bella have been going to VCA Lewis since they came into my life, and I can't begin to say how amazing their team is. When Grace was a puppy she had seizures, and the staff at VCA has helped keep her seizure free for the past 6-years! No matter the illness, ache, or just a check-up, the Doctors at VCA have been there to see that my girls are healthy as can be! Caring, kind, and honest..... I would recommend VCA Lewis and any of their outstanding Doctors!
