Alethea Evans, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Michigan State University


Dr. Evans completed her veterinary education at Michigan State University, receiving a doctorate in veterinary medicine. She also completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Evans moved east following graduation from veterinary school. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has special interests in internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Evans has two beagle/corgi mixes- Harpo and Marla, that she enjoys spending time with. She also enjoys crafts, sewing and learning to knit in her spare time.

"What I find most rewarding about being a veterinarian is the ability to make a positive impact on pet's lives. Having pets of my own, I know that they are important members of our family. It is a privilege to be tasked with keeping them healthy and improving the quality of their lives."
