Emily has been a veterinary assistant with VCA Kirkwood Animal Hospital since December 2021. She has had a passion for animals since she was a little girl and has worked with them in a variety of settings including raising foster kittens (and a litter of piglets!), showing Boer goats at the State Fair, and taking care of marine life at Cape Henlopen State Park's nature center. Emily is currently working toward obtaining her undergrad degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture and Natural Resources from the University of Delaware, and then on to pursue an accelerated program master's degree. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
