Jessie Yick, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Western University of Health Sciences

Dr. Jessie Yick received her bachelor's from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2005 and graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA with her veterinary degree in 2010. She then completed an optional, year-long small animal medicine/surgery internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center and joined VCA Holly Street Animal Hospital soon afterwards.

She currently resides in Redwood City with her boyfriend, and her "farm" which includes "BZ" a Lab-Pit, "Magnus" a Great Dane-English Mastiff and "Stunner", a domestic short hair tabby. In her spare time she enjoys running, hitting the gym and working as an independent stylist. Originally from the Belmont/San Carlos area, she has been with the VCA family for several years as she was a technician at another peninsula VCA hospital off and on since 2001. She is happy to be back home near her friends and family while pursuing her life-long dream as a veterinarian.
