VCA Health Associates Animal Hospital

Neill Walker, DVM, Medical Director

DVM, Kansas State University

Biography

I grew up on a farm in Kansas and decided to become a veterinarian before I entered grade school. I graduated from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM degree in 1967 . After serving in the Air Force for two years, I started a mixed practice in McPherson, Kansas and enjoyed caring for a variety of animals for twelve years before turning the practice over to my brother and moving to San Antonio, Texas.
Since 1985, I have focused entirely on small animal practice. I practiced and managed Animal Health Associates, and helped design a new veterinary hospital which was built in 1995 and became VCA Health Associates in 2004. I am currently serving as Medical Director for VCA Health Associates and enjoy being able see a variety of dogs and cats and help their owners keep them happy and healthy. Outside the practice I enjoy fishing, hunting with my Labrador Retriever and German Shorthair pointer, and participating in Community Bible Church.
