Caring for pets... and their people, too.

VCA Greater Savannah welcomes you and your pet!

At VCA Greater Savannah Animal Hospital, you'll be served by experienced, knowledgeable staff. Our veterinarians, technicians, and other pet-loving personnel are trained to the highest standards. Our knowledge of the latest veterinary medicines and procedures ensures that all of our patients get the best in prevention and healing methods.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local medical issues that can impact your pet's health and require your attention throughout the year. For example, heartworm disease affects both cats and dogs. Because it's transmitted by mosquitoes, which thrive in our region, it's a serious cause for concern. And since the winter temperatures here do not get cold enough to kill mosquito eggs, heartworms are a year-round risk. The same is true for flea and tick infestations and intestinal parasites, all of which pose a problem in any season.

New to VCA?

In addition to the traditional services you'd expect from a veterinary hospital, we also specialize in treating exotic pets, including reptiles, pocket pets, and birds. We also provide onsite boarding, so you can count on us to meet all your pet's needs.

The friendly, professional staff at VCA Greater Savannah Animal Hospital consists of dedicated individuals who make it their mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. To be true to this mission, the hospital utilizes the expertise of many unique individuals whose combined skills deliver the best patient and client experience.

Teamwork is a constant in our daily practice. From check-in to check-out, our team of pet lovers works cohesively to create a consistently warm and welcoming experience for both you and your pet.
