Dr. Julie Cieplik attended Clark University in Worcester, MA where she received her B.A. in Biology in 1992. She completed her DVM degree at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, followed by an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA. 

After working in emergency medicine in the Boston area, Julie relocated to Albany, NY for 10 years, then moved to the CT shoreline in 2008. She has special interests in behavior, nutrition and non-traditional companion animal species. Julie enjoys the beach, dance, yoga and spending time with her family.
