    Veterinary Tech School: Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College
    School: Warren Wilson College, BA

    Meghan comes to us from North Carolina where she attended veterinary technician school. She moved to Philadelphia in 2014 to be closer to her family. Meghan enjoys exploring the Wissahickon trails, taking care of her young nephew, and hanging out with her cat Polyanna. Meghan is excited to be part of the VCA family!

    Geena Cancelliere
    School: La Salle University, B.S. in Biology

    Geena was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from La Salle University with a BS in Biology and hopes to pursue a career as a veterinarian. Geena joined the VCA Cat Hospital in 2013. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, their two cats Nala and Baloo and their new baby girl Isabella. When asked why she does what she does, Geena said " I have always enjoyed working with animals and I love being able to make a difference in the lives of our clients and patients."

    Samantha Eicholtz
    Veterinary Tech School: Camden County Community College

    Samantha discovered her love for veterinary medicine after adopting her first pet, Wilfred, a red nose pitbull three years ago. Since then, she's been working in private practice with cats, dogs, and many other exotic pets. Samantha lives in Southern New Jersey and is attending Camden County Community College to achieve her veterinary technician certification. In her free time Samantha visits various parks and hiking trails with her dog by her side. She does not currently own any cats but once she convinces her boyfriend she's sure she will adopt 1 or 2! When asked why she does what she does, Samantha said "I choose to be a technician because I enjoy helping owners learn how to properly care for their pets."

    Kim Gilmore
    School: Pennsylvania State University, BS

    Kim is originally from Lancaster, PA but started at VCA Cat hospital in the summer of 2010. Originally veterinary school bound, Kim graduated from Penn State with a BS in Animal Bioscience, and then from Drexel University with a degree in Laboratory Animal Science. Kim is usually around the Cat Hospital on occasional nights and weekends. Kim works for the School of Medicine at Temple University during the week. In her free time, Kim plays ultimate Frrisbee, bakes cookies, and hangs out with her cat, Papoo.
