Team Spotlight
Dr. Stacy Hare is a true East Coast transplant. Growing up in Maine, she did her undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, earning a B.S. in Animal Science. She then went to Tufts University for her degree in veterinary medicine, graduating in 2002. Immediately upon graduation, she moved to California and began work at VCA Blossom Hill. Her special interests include dentistry, surgery, and working with rescue groups. Her favorite part of her job is helping people take the best possible care of their pets. Sami Meeks is from San Martin, CA, and has been with VCA since 2010. In the past, she has completed her Emergency Medical Services (EMS) training and become nationally certified. She has also developed a special interest in pet nutrition, having received training in nutrition over the past 25 years in the veterinary field.
Sami's favorite part of working in this field is connecting with staff, clients, and their pets. She also loves the advancing science behind veterinary medicine and exploring new ways to improve both the client and associate experience.
