Biography
After graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1968, Dr. Peters joined the Army as a vet for 2 years. He spent one year in Vietnam treating Army dogs. After leaving the Army, he practiced small animal medicine in Los Angeles for 2 years, then came north to Santa Clara Valley. He spent one year at clinics in Saratoga and downtown San Jose, then finally settled at Blossom Hill in 1973. In 1986, he left Blossom Hill for greener pastures in Oregon, owning his own practice until 1994. He came to his senses and moved back to Blossom Hill in 1994, where he has remained since.Dr. Peters lives in San Jose with his beautiful wife of more than 40 years, some extended family and a cat named Smokey with a bad hip.
