Laura Avery is from the Seattle area. She enjoys paddle-boarding, skiing, hiking and gardening. Laura attended PIMA medical instate in 2004 and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2009. She has worked at VCA Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital since 2004 and really enjoys the variety of the job. Currently she lives in Edmonds with her fiancé, their boxer mix ('Roxy'), and their black cat ('2Key').

Rachel Moore started working at ACAH in the spring of 2008 as a veterinary assistant while she finished technician school. She graduated in 2009 and passed the Licensed Veterinary Technician boards at the same time. She has been working as a technician at ACAH ever since.
Rachel lives with her two children, one dog, two cats, a rat and a horse. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.

Shayla started as a Veterinary Assistant at VCA Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital in the Summer of 2014. She attends Pima Medical Institute and will be graduating in the Spring of 2015. She currently lives in Lynnwood with her cat, Wicket, and her two dogs, Porter and Bailey. She enjoys swimming, knitting and playing tug-of-war with her dogs.

Liz Triebold is from Chicago and moved to Seattle 6 years ago. She started working at ACAH as a receptionist before training as a veterinary assistant. After working in the field for 5 years, she was able to sit for the National and State Board Exams to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Liz lives in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle with her boyfriend, 3 cats (Lucy, Amelia, and Sanford), and 1 dog (Daisy). She enjoys camping, hiking, playing Frisbee with Daisy, and spending time with family. She also loves going to Cubs games, when back in Chicago.

Sara Taylor was raised in Brier. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and drawing. Her interest in veterinary medicine developed as a child. She always wanted to go to the vet with her parents when her family pets had to go in for anything. She attended veterinary assisting school at Sno-Isle Tech Skills Center and graduated in 2011. She has been working at VCA Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital ever since! She plans to become a Licensed Technician in the future once she gets more experience in the Veterinary field. She lives with her fiancé, their Lab-mix (Bosco), and their cat (Skye).
