Laura Avery, LVT
Laura attended PIMA Medical Institute in the Veterinary Assistant Program and she has been working at ACAH since the summer of 2004. She became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in August of 2009.
Laura was born and raised in Bothell, WA and now lives in Mountlake Terrace with her boyfriend and two Boxers. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and fishing. -

Laurie Chandler, LVT
Laurie Chandler graduated from Puget Sound Institute of Technology in 1984, and has been a technician at Alderwood Companion for 4+ years. She enjoys reading, gardening, films, and theater. She lives with her son, three cats and numerous stickbugs. -

Liz Triebold, LVT
Liz Triebold is from Chicago and moved to Seattle 6 years ago. She started working at ACAH as a receptionist before training as a veterinary assistant. After working in the field for 5 years, she was able to sit for the National and State Board Exams to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Liz lives in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle with her boyfriend, 3 cats (Lucy, Amelia, and Sanford), and 1 dog (Daisy). She enjoys camping, hiking, playing Frisbee with Daisy, and spending time with family. She also loves going to Cubs games, when back in Chicago. -

Rachel Moore, LVT
Rachel Moore started working at ACAH in the spring of 2008 as a veterinary assistant while she finished technician school. She graduated in 2009 and passed the Licensed Veterinary Technician boards at the same time. She has been working as a technician at ACAH ever since.
Rachel lives with her two children, one dog, two cats, a rat and a horse. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, reading, and hanging out with family and friends. -

Sheri Young, LVT
Sheri Young graduated from Puget Sound Institute of Technology in 1985. After graduating, she sat for the National and State Board exams and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has been with Alderwood Companion for 10+ years.
She is currently 'owned' by her Rottweiler, Niko and her Staffordshire Terrier, Lou. The newest member of her house is Lita, a Norwegian Forest cat. In her space time she enjoys riding her Harley with her life partner, Don. Camping and target shooting are also top on her list. -
Keryn Dobler

Keryn Dobler
Keryn Dobler was born in St. Louis, MO and moved to the Greater Northwest in 2000 with her family. Here she achieved her Associates degree from Cascadia Community College at which point proceeded to Western Washington University in Bellingham to study Communications and Theatre Arts. She was hired as a receptionist at Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital the winter of 2008. The experience she has gained here has driven her to pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician. She plans on beginning schooling in the near future. In her spare time she enjoys flying her kite on windy days, having dance parties and searching for her long awaited pug companion, Pudgey. -
