Jill was 8 years old when her and her family moved to the Pacific Northwest from New York. She was born in Brooklyn in 1945. Her first job at a veterinary hospital started in 1967. She has been working in the profession since then! She really enjoys working with animals and their owners, making sure their pets' live a comfortable, long and healthy life. She has had her hands in almost everything that entails working in the profession, she even managed a hospital back in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 6 years! Jill joined Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital with founders Dr. McGill and his wife, Bobbie, back in November 1994 (before the hospital even transitioned into a VCA owned hospital!) At this time, she has her hands full with her two kittens, Lily and Calla. In the past she has had birds, hamsters, cats and dogs. Other then her two special kittens, she enjoys gardening and is an avid cook (just wait until you try her rendition of Dr. McGill's infamous shortbread cookies during the holiday season!)
