Eliza moved to Washington from Oregon in 1994. The following year, she started her first job in the veterinary field as an assistant working at a small 24 hr trauma center in Poulsbo. From there her experiences expanded as she worked at various hospitals throughout VCA (previously Pets Choice) as a veterinary assistant, receptionist supervisor, inventory manager, and hospital team leader. Since starting with the company in 1998, Eliza has thoroughly enjoyed the experiences these different roles have allowed her to have. She has been with Alderwood Companion since 2007. In her spare time she enjoys furthering her education by taking classes at EVCC with a focus in Biology, running, spending time with her husband and pets, and being a supportive Seattle fan by attending Husky games and Sounders soccer games!
Sarah is one of the newest members of the VCA Alderwood Companion team (as of September 2014). She recently moved here from Texas and is still adjusting to the rainy weather. Sarah has always loved animals, but holds a special place in her heart for that of the farm variety, especially chickens. (She was once the best chicken judger in Texas, go ahead and quiz her)n Sarah loves to cook and can often be found singing in the car, church and shower. In her free time Sarah can be found day-dreaming about Australia, west Texas sunsets, and carbs.
