Dr. Verona Douglas joined the practice in March 2018 as an associate veterinarian. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University and completed and internship at West Los Angeles Veterinary Medical Group, the largest private practice referral hospital on the West Coast. She then began practicing small animal medicine in beautiful Santa Barbara, California where she remained for 25 years.

Dr. Douglas has always had an interest in nontraditional medicine. She obtained certification in veterinary acupuncture in 2001 and in canine rehabilitation in 2011.

Dr. Douglas loves living beautiful Monument Colorado with her two-legged and four-legged family. When not busy caring for pets at the hospital, she enjoys most physical activities, but especially yoga, pilates and long walks with her beloved dogs, Lilla and Jackson.
