• The Extra Mile

  We recently moved to Wilmington NC, and our dog Boot has been to several vets in his life time. VCA Wrightsville Beach was hands down the best experience we have had at a veterinarian hospital EVER. The staff up-front could not be nicer and more welcoming. The visit with Dr. Clifton Simmons was a new experience. He took the time to listen to me as an owner and explained everything so thoroughly that I left the hospital with that trust in a veterinarian hospital that every owner searches for. He also went the extra mile to follow up personally on Boot, twice. Amazing! The standards at VCA Wrightsville are miles above the rest! Thank You!!!

  Thirteen years of love

  I brought Lexie to Dr. Simmons in 1998 for puppy shots and a spay. She was treated there her whole life! She survived the first round of cancer treatments at age 12, but when it returned at 13 1/2 we knew we needed to make the dreaded trip to the vet. Dr. Wagner was very kind and loving with the awful situation. The staff and doctors are wonderful here.

  Awesome Experience

  Wrightsville Animal Hospital, got my dog Harley in right away, and the entire staff was amazing! Dr. Reznick, took great care of Harley, and was very compassionate!! Never let me feel rushed in and out! They were very patient and spent a lot of time with us! I am very grateful!

  We got our dog leeloo about a month ago. She was in poor health, we just didn't know how bad. I took her to VCA and the staff was nothing but super kind and understanding. She had a yeast infection (she had no hair on the back 1/2 of her body) and double ear infection, needed all of her shots, heartworm test and so much more. Now that we've given med's and she is being loved and cared for she's so much happier than when she arrived home. I am soooo thankful that the staff understands that times are hard with the economy right now and they have def. helped out!!!! thank you for all you do.

  These great people @VCA Wrightsville Beach Vet hospital ARE THEE BEST, at what they do and know. Not only are they just vets, but pet owners also. they are concern, loving, friendly and full of good information. Our Best vets ever, and the tech's, and admin, they are a great group of people that work together, and keep that ship flowing nicely. we are so lucky we found them, after two bad experiences of other vets in our area. I will NEVER change. they have helped us with the grieving process twice now, and they are just simply wonderful people. words can not express.

  Helpful in an Emergency

  We visited your hospital Sat. & saw Dr. Resnick with our cat Prince, who is a kidney cat. We wanted to tell your entire staff how thankful we were for your help. Dr. R. and the staff took such good care of Prince and he took such a long time talking to us about kidney failure and things to expect in the future. Even though we are not patients as of now, we will bring both of our animal's records to you Friday so they can become your patients. Prince is eating soft food and drinking water again! Thank you again for helping us out in an emergency.

  VCA Wrightsville loved our Romulus

  We can't say enough about VCA Wrightsville and their care of our furry child. Romulus was like a child to us and the care and love that VCA Wrightsville gave him cannot be expressed in words. He was diagnosed with cancer last year and VCA Wrightsville helped us do everything we could, to keep him with us. Sadly last week that was no longer possible. VCA Wrightsville showed him love to the last. We want to thank everyone at VCA Wrightsville especially Dr Resnick and Dr Wagoner. We would never go anywhere else but to VCA Wrightsville for pet care.

  Knowing you have done your best

  Kansas was my best friend and buddy and my caregiver for 6 1/2 years. A different kind of cat he was. Tough and tender at the same time.... When we found out he had cancer and only weeks to live I was devastated. The next few weeks were a blur of tears and heartache. The kindness, and gentleness of the staff, especially Stacey and Dr. Christine went beyond caring. With Dr. Christine's advice and care I felt that a family member was with me through it all. Thank you Dr. Christine and all the staff.
