Originally from Ohio, Stacey has been with VCA Wrightsville Beach Animal Hospital since 2003. In 1998, she became a Registered Veterinary Technician through Columbus State Community College. Stacey is also a certified trainer with NPDTA. She has two children Jordan and Lauren and two dogs.
Veterinary AssistantAdam Balousek
Adam is originally from New Bern, NC. He attended Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh where he majored in Graphic Design. Before moving to Wilmington, Adam was a camp counselor at Camp Bow-Wow. He joined the VCA Wrightsville Beach team in September 2009. Adam pursued his career into the animal field for the love and well being he has for animals. Adam shares his home with a black and tan Coonhound/Doberman mix named Bella and Driver a Hound mix. In his free time he enjoys music, surfing, art and spending time with family and friends.
Veterinary AssistantMegan Maier
Megan came to VCA Wrightsville Beach Animal Hospital from Knoxville, TN in 2013. She has been in the field of veterinary medicine for over 5 years and absolutely loves it. Megan lives in Wilmington with her dog named Lily. In her spare time Megan enjoys crafting, reading, and exploring the great outdoors. In the future Megan hopes to become a researcher in biological science.

Cheslie came to VCA Wrightsville Beach Animal Hospital from Raleigh in May of 2010. She is a military brat that has lived in 7 different states. She lives in Wilmington with her 3 year old pitbull mix named Joplin, Lucy, a terrier mix and Kirby and min-pin mix. Outside of work, Chelsie volunteers for Adopt-An-Angel and was one of the founding 4 members of the non-profit organization.
