VCA Woodstock Animal Hospital

Amy Horlings, DVM, Medical Director

Biography

Growing up in San Francisco, Dr. Horlings started out volunteering with orphaned wildlife, and raising goats in 4H. She worked as a Veterinary Technician while obtaining a BA in History from UC Berkeley. After graduating from UC Davis Veterinary School, Dr. Horlings moved to Portland as an Intern at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital.
The wonderful local hiking, biking, and Powell's Books all cemented her decision to make the move permanent.
Today, the wildlife at home are Guinness the terrier, Floof the cat, and four beautiful hens.
