Denise is a 2006 graduate of the LSC-Tomball Veterinary Technology program where she earned her Licensed Veterinary Technician degree. Denise has been a member of the VCA team since her graduation. She has an advanced degree in Psychology and Sociology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and is keenly aware of the importance of recognizing and nurturing the human-animal bond. She is especially interested in veterinary geriatric medicine, hospice care, and grief support. Denise is married with two adult children and two grandchildren. She is the proud pet parent of two dogs, Taffy and Tootsie, and also caters to the whims of four spoiled feline housemates, Chelsea, K.C., Titan, and Oogie.
