Dr. Jennifer Wells, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Biography

Jennifer Wells, a Michigan State University graduate,currently practices relief medicine in Southeastern Michigan. Dr. Wells enjoys working with companion animals in a variety of settings and seeks out opportunities to use her medical knowledge in new ways. She has served as a veterinarian for the Iditarod dog sled race in Alaska twice, has pursued veterinary mission work in Haiti, Honduras, and Mexico, and helped in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in both Lousiana and Mississippi. Dr. Wells also had the opportunity to teach in the Veterinary Technology program at Wayne State University for two years. She lives in Manchester with her Border Collie, Bo (pictured), Messy Kitty (a Hurricane Katrina rescue), Sophie (a fiesty ex-barncat), her husband, David, and their toddler, Isabel.
