    Taylor Jackson
    Veterinary Tech School: Tulsa Community College

    Taylor has been with VCA for three years. She began working at VCA Woodland Central as a Pet Care Specialist and decided to broaden her knowledge of animal care by attending the Tulsa Community College Veterinary Technician Program. She graduated from this program in May of 2013 and is currently studying for her National Boards Exam in the fall. VCA has given Taylor great opportunity to gain experience and become a better Technician. Taylor likes to participate in surgeries, but is still finding her area of interest in the veterinary field. Outside of work Taylor enjoys swimming, reading, playing the violin, and loving on her furry baby boy, Max.

    Monica Lewis
    Veterinary Tech School: Tulsa Community College

    Previous employment for Monica included landscaping & carpentry, as well as 8 years in the Army. Then a shoulder rotator-cuff malfunction & subsequent surgery occurred. Monica then was able to return to a life-long ambition of working with animals. She entered TCC’s Veterinary Technology Program and earned her certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2011. The competent & innovating work the veterinarians & other technicians perform everyday at Central is motivating & inspiring. Also, the role for technicians in dentistry surgery is intriguing, as Monica would like to further her education & specialize in this field.
    Outside of work, Monica is married & enjoys biking, ping-pong, woodworking, grilling, & hiking with her 4 dogs.

    Natalie Harmon

    Natalie has been a vet assistant for over 16 years.  She started at VCA Veterinary Medical Center 12 years ago and has worked at Woodland Central for the last 4 years.  Natalie has 5 children from ages 2-20 years old, and has just joined the wonderful world of Grandparenting. She has has 4 fuzzy children: Tyman and Smokey are both over 16, Ambrosia age 13 and Itty Bitty is 10 years old.  Natalie spends her spare time enjoying life with her husband Jeremy and the "kids".  She also petsits and runs her own candy business.

    Brittany Richardson
    Veterinary Tech School: Community Care

    Brittany has worked in the Veterinary field since 2006 working her way up from kennel tech, to receptionist, and finally to technician. She has always loved animals and as a child was always taking in strays or wild animals to nurse them back to health. She then decided to pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician, and attended Community Care College in 2008 studying Vet Assisting. Brittany is now expecting her first child. She and her husband are very excited to welcome Konner James into the world in December 2013. She lives with her husband, 2 cats and 1 dog. She started at VCA Cat Hospital in April 2012, and then in August of that same year transferred to VCA Woodland Central Hospital, which is now home.

    Jeremiah Skaggs

    Jeremiah is a new member of the VCA family, having started January 2013. Jeremiah has been a technician, working with large and small animals since 2002. He particular area of interest is reproduction. After many years of raising and showing show cattle, he currently spends his time showing dogs and breeding Bulldogs. Jeremiah just recently got married and loves spending time the family and friends. Anyone who knows Jeremiah, know that he is crazy about is “All American Idol” Carrie Underwood.

    Lindsay Sturgis

    Lindsay has worked for VCA since 2011. She started as a Client Care Representative and Pet Care Specialist at an emergency hospital. In August 2012, she began training to become a veterinary technician. In December of that same year, she moved back to Tulsa from Hawaii and joined the VCA Woodland Central team. She enjoys playing with her two Chihuahuas and cat, as well as watching cheesy movies and going on trips with her husband.

    Allison Ruicker

    Allison joined VCA in June of 2011 as a pet care specialist. She moved to the position of Technician Assistant in June of 2011. Allison attended Bethany College in Lindsborg Kansas where she played softball and received her Bachelors of Arts in Biology. Allison plans to further her education in the veterinary field and will be attending Veterinary School. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, time with her family, and her French bulldog, Mila.
