VCA Woodland Central Animal Hospital

Veterinary Support

  • Registered Veterinary Technician

    Monica Lewis
Veterinary Tech School: Tulsa Community College

Previous employment for Monica included landscaping & carpentry, as well as 8 years in the Army. Then a shoulder rotator-cuff malfunction & subsequent surgery occurred. Monica then was able to return to a life-long ambition of working with animals. She entered TCC’s Veterinary Technology Program and earned her certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2011. The competent & innovating work the veterinarians & other technicians perform everyday at Central is motivating & inspiring. Also, the role for technicians in dentistry surgery is intriguing, as Monica would like to further her education & specialize in this field.
Outside of work, Monica is married & enjoys biking, ping-pong, woodworking, grilling, & hiking with her 4 dogs.
