She graduated from this program in May of 2013 and is currently studying for her National Boards Exam in the fall. VCA has given Taylor great opportunity to gain experience and become a better Technician. Taylor likes to participate in surgeries, but is still finding her area of interest in the veterinary field. Outside of work Taylor enjoys swimming, reading, playing the violin, and loving on her furry baby boy, Max.

  • Registered Veterinary Technician

    Monica Lewis
Veterinary Tech School: Tulsa Community College

Previous employment for Monica included landscaping & carpentry, as well as 8 years in the Army. Then a shoulder rotator-cuff malfunction & subsequent surgery occurred. Monica then was able to return to a life-long ambition of working with animals. She entered TCC’s Veterinary Technology Program and earned her certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2011. The competent & innovating work the veterinarians & other technicians perform everyday at Central is motivating & inspiring. Also, the role for technicians in dentistry surgery is intriguing, as Monica would like to further her education & specialize in this field.
Outside of work, Monica is married & enjoys biking, ping-pong, woodworking, grilling, & hiking with her 4 dogs.
