Kathryn Henshaw, DVM, Medical Director

DVM, Oklahoma State University

Dr. Kathryn Henshaw, B.S., DVM obtained her degrees at Oklahoma State University. Dr. Henshaw served in the Army on Active Duty as a Captain and Veterinarian in Georgia and South Korea. She joined VCA in August 2010 at the VCA Cat Hospital of Tulsa, then transferred to VCA Woodland Central. Her goals are to be a great doctor and leader in this clinic. She is interested in soft tissue surgery and working dogs.

Dr. Henshaw is a very lucky lady who not only has the best husband ever, Scott, but also two of the cutest little boys Robert and Gabriel. Gabriel is known for his special cuddling super powers. Robert is excellent at playing with legos and Dr. Henshaw is excellent at stepping on his legos in the dark!

Her pet family consists of the master manipulator, Daisy Duke, a Cattle Dog mix, Diesel, Border Collie/Lab mix who is a sucker for belly rubs, and Sugar, a domestic short hair who is all white and deaf (although it may be more of a selective hearing issue). Dr. Henshaw enjoys spending her free time cooking, playing with her sons (the cutest little boys ever), quilting, watching Sci-Fi movies and traveling.
