  • Kennel Assistant

    Julia Decker

Julia joined the VCA family in April 2014 as a pet care assistant.  She plans to attend TCC to pursue more in the veterinary field.  She loves all kinds of animals, but is a major dog lover.  She has 3 dogs; a German Shepherd name Zoey, a Golden Great Pyrenees named Blitz, and Fynn the Shih Tzu!

  • Kennel Assistant

    Tammy Haring

Tammy has been with VCA Woodland Broken Arrow since August of 2014.  She joined our team because she loves animals and was looking for a change from her background in human healthcare, specifically as a Certified Home Health Aide for Hospice.  Tammy has five pets, but prefers to refer to them as her kids.  She has Hurley the Boxer, Jasper the Beagle mix, JillAnn the Dachshund, Scrappy the Shih Tzu, and her kitty Jasmine!  Tammy loves camping and family time.

  • Groomer

    Melissa Baysinger

Melissa has been grooming pets for 18 years, 16 of those for VCA!  She has two children, a 9 year old boy named Dakota and a 5 year old little girl, Marissa.  They also LOVE animals.  Together Melissa and her children have two dachshunds, two cats, one snake, and one fish.  Melissa loves getting to know her clients and their pets, and loves making them look and feel good.

Specialty Care

Sometimes sick or injured pets need the care of a veterinary medical specialist. When that happens, VCA specialty hospitals work closely with the general practitioner veterinarians who refer cases to us in order to provide seamless veterinary care to your pet. When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you. Our specialized services include: behavior, cardiology, critical care, dentistry, dermatology, integrative medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, reproduction, and surgery.
