    Dawn attended Bel-Rea Institute and received her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2003. She has been Certified as a Veterinary Technician with the state of Colorado since that time. Dawn has also completed certification in Small Animal Veterinary Dentistry. Dawn has worked for VCA Wingate since 2007, and worked in emergency veterinary medicine prior to that.

    Dawn is originally from Maryland and has been happily married for the last 21 years, and has two teenage daughters. Dawn and her family have three dogs, several cats, three horses, and a passion for exotic birds and reptiles.

    Dawn has a strong background in veterinary care for exotic animals. She enjoys working in the surgical ward, as well as the daily tasks of treatment. It brings her great joy to help patients as well as their owners toward the road to recovery or to improve health.
