Lisa has been grooming pets since 1997, and has learned how to use a very gentle touch to win over even the shyest, most fearful pups. She makes their grooming experience as fun as can be with lots of praise and love, and even a treat or two. She has lots of love to share for all sorts of animals, but especially dogs and has been the caretaker of an Irish Wolfhound, aptly named Hale "King of My Heart". She is the mother of three grown children and the grandmother of four, for whom she enjoys cooking large meals. When she's not making pets look fabulous she goes four-wheeling, hiking, plays in a band, and volunteers at the local battered woman's shelter.
Erin has loved animals for as long as anyone can remember. She started her animal career in the 5th grade working on science projects about endangered animals, animal abuse, and animal testing. She continued her work through Girl Scouts volunteering with shelters all throughout high school. She joined the FFA in high school where she learned everything one could want to know about animal science through classes like Zoology, Agricultural Science, and Forestry. She stated to work for VCA Hemingway Cat Hospital in Saratoga in the Summer of 1998 as a kennel attendant, technician assistance, and cat bather. By 2001, she was the full time groomer at VCA Hemingway Cat Hospital. After Hemingway’s decision to close in August of 2013, Erin came to join her new VCA family at VCA Winchester Animal Hospital in Campbell, where she is their cat only groomer. When she is not at work pampering the kitties, she is either doing volunteer work with her Girl Scouts or tending to her garden and her many pets at home. Erin currently has one dog, three cats, four chickens, two rabbits, and two turtles.
