Jessica Dias, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, University of Wisconsin-Madison

A native of Belchertown, Massachusetts, Dr. Jessica Dias has been an advocate for furry creatures since she was a child. Her childhood pets included dogs, rabbits, chickens and even a couple cats after begging her Dad to allow it. She attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst for her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience before moving to Philadelphia, PA and then Madison, WI to pursue medical research. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison in 2013, before relocating to Los Angeles to work with VCA. She then returned back to the northeast to join VCA Wickaboag in 2014.

Throughout her veterinary studies and practice Dr. Dias has developed interest in the areas of animal behavior, cardiology, surgery, and internal, emergency and alternative medicine. She hopes to become veterinary acupuncture certified over the coming years to be able to offer this service to furry friends of the clinic.

Dr. Dias has a vast array of interests outside of work that led her along a path to being a massage therapist, certified yoga instructor and musician. In her spare time Dr. Dias can be found hiking, skiing, bicycling, practicing yoga, singing, or playing the saxophone or piano. She currently shares her home with two sassy Himalayan cats involved in a heated sibling rivalry, Maya Bean and Ollie Lou Baggins.
