    Julie Lawlor
Veterinary Tech School: Animal Behavior College

Julie is a Veterinary Assistant at both the VCA Whitman and Hanson Animal Hospitals, after receiving a veterinary assisting certificate from the Animal Behavior College in 2013. She has been with VCA for several years, and has aspirations of becoming a certified veterinary technician--as a matter of fact, she is currently enrolled in a veterinary technology program through Penn Foster. Julie's favorite part about the job is interacting with pets and their guardians, especially when she has the opportunity to watch the puppies and kittens grow into adults. Julie has a miniature zoo in her household, which allows her to share her love of animals with her son, Masen. Her family includes two dogs (Ziggy and Tyson), three cats (Caesar, Munchkin Butt, and Midnight), and two guinea pigs (Tootsie and Sweet Pea). On her days off, she enjoys shopping, sports (especially volleyball), and chasing Masen around the playground.

    Nicole Paul
    School: Stonehill College

Nicole is one of the newest members of the VCA Whitman team, and started working with us in November of 2015.  She works a little bit of double-duty in the practice, switching between working as a Receptionist at the front desk and alongside the veterinarians as a Veterinary Assistant.  Although her degree is in sociology, her love of animals brought her to the veterinary field.  She loves to learn, and share her knowledge with her patient's parents.  She shares her home with many pets, including dogs, cats, and chinchillas.  In her time away from the office, she enjoys being outdoors, going to concerts and shows, and reading.
