Biography

Dr Gerber grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts and attended the University of Vermont where he earned his bachelor of science in animal sciences.  He graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2010.  Immediately upon graduation from Western, he completed a 13 month intership in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.  The Animal Medical Center is one of the largest and busiest specialty referral centers in the world.  Dr Gerber's clinical interests include internal medicine and reproduction.  He has recently returned to Massachusetts after spending the past year in Florida working as an emergency clinician at a 24 hour  specialty referral and emergency hospital.  He shares his home with his fiance, two cats and three papillons.  In his spare time, he enjoys showing his papillons in AKC sanctioned events, sailing, singing and spending time with friends and family.  Dr Gerber is very excited about being back home in Massachusetts and being part of the team at VCA Whitman.
