Dr. Katie Morawski grew up in Massachusetts with the desire to become a veterinarian as long as she can remember. She attended Williams College where she was a catcher on the softball team and graduated with a BA in Biology. Dr. Morawski received her DVM degree in 2012 from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated as a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society. She then moved to Denver for a year-long rotating internship in emergency, surgery, and specialty practice, and then for an additional year worked in general practice just outside of Denver. Dr. Morawski joined VCA Westboro Animal Hospital in 2014. Her interests include preventative care, senior pet care, dentistry, internal medicine, and mentoring new veterinarians. Dr. Morawski lives with her husband, children, and two cats. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Morawski enjoys baking, crossword puzzles, and visiting local breweries.
