Biography

Shiri Hoshen, DVM

Dr. Hoshen grew up near Chicago and received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from Princeton University in 1993. She attended veterinary school at Colorado State University, graduating in 2001.

Dr. Hoshen is a member of the AVMA, NMVMA, and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include general medicine and dentistry, acupuncture, and canine behavior. She is currently studying veterinary homeopathy.

She has one cat and three dogs. When not working, Dr. Hoshen loves reading and talking about dogs. It is almost pathological: behavior, evolution, and genetics are her favorite topics. Ever the pessimistic optimist, Dr. Hoshen persists in trying to teach her bored Afghan hound, Gaddie, to retrieve a dumbbell.
