    Shell received her R.V. T. license in 1982 from Mesa College. She started practicing here at the hospital in early 1990.
    Shell considers herself as a cat person but cares greatly for all animals. She enjoys reading, knitting and snuggling with her cats.

    Carmelita was born and raised in San Diego. After high school she attended the Pima Medical Institute for the Veterinary Assistant program and graduated in the top of her class.
    Carmelita considers herself a big dog lover but loves all animals.

    Ilona was born and raised in Holland for 10 years before coming to the United States. She has always had many dogs and cats while growing up. Ilona has a special love of German Shepherds, she has German Shepherd in her heart!. Ilona has lived in the United States for 30 years and would like to return to Holland when she retires. Being an animal lover she has 8 cats of her own and at work loves to care for the cats and take the dogs on long walks. Ilona has been with the VCA family for over 5 years

    School: PIMA

    Kyrie was born and raised in Olympia, Washington and moved to San Diego in 2009.
    Kyrie is married to her husband who is a United States Marine who is stationed at MCAS Miramar. Kyrie graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2011 with a certificate in Veterinary Assisting. She has 2 cats of her own, a calico named George and a crazy bengal named Woody.
