Biography

Dr. Robbins is the Medical Director of VCA West Bernardo Animal Hospital. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, Davis and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Although a native Californian, Dr. Robbins spent 10 years practicing veterinary medicine in the Southeast. Dr. Robbins has a deep passion for pain management and frequently lectures to veterinarians on this topic. He is a member of several international pain societies and certified in stem cell therapy. In addition, Dr. Robbins writes pet advice columns for several San Diego magazines and newspapers. Dr. Robbins enjoys cooking, fishing and spending time with his family.
