Jessica Fernandez
Receptionist Supervisor
Jessica Fernandez
Jessica was born and raised in West Palm Beach. She has always loved animals. As a little girl she would have her parents buy her dogs, birds, lizards etc. She has always known that she was going to work with animals. She has been working with animals for over 12 years. She currently has 3 dogs and 2 cats. They are her everything. Working with animals is what she loves and will never change.
In Jessica's words:
Why I can to work it's simple I love animals, when I was a little girl I always dreamed of working at a veterinarian office. I must say that the people I work with are great . They feel the same as I do when it comes to helping these pets. When I came to work I feel like I make a difference with our clients and their pets. It makes my day to know that I'm helping them in the same way, to taking food out to their cars, to making them an appointment, helping the doctors and technicians when they need me. I love my job and I know that it is sometimes hard for some to say but how can't you love your job when for the most part we get to play with cute animals.

Amanda Bradshaw
Receptionist
Amanda Bradshaw
Amanda and her husband live in Wellington with their 2 Aussies Dante and Divah. She works at VCA doing her two favorite things, working with people and helping take care of their pets. Animals have always been a passion of Amanda's. She strives to provide people with the best client/patient experience possible.
In Amanda's words:
Ever since I was little I have been around animals. I have gained them, lost them, seen them hurt, helped them heal and even raised 4 litters of kittens from birth and kept a kitten with a cleft palate healthy and alive until he was 3 months old. I have also always been a people person. Thus working with people and animals has ALWAYS been considered a dream job for me. The opportunity was given to me July 2010 and I have been grateful ever since. I love my clients. I love that I get to play with and love on their animals. I mean if it couldn't have been a better selection for me! After all study after study has declared human contact with an animal lowers blood pressure, raised endorphins and in general people who own animals are in better health than those who don’t. I work for my clients because honestly I love them! I love to be there for them, I love to help them, and educate them. I love to listen to them about their lives. Receptionist can sometimes mean “counselor”. I have held clients while they cried for their pet passing away in their arms. And I have celebrated with them on a new arrival to the family. I don’t work solely for the money. Its much more than that. I work for the joy of helping someone. No matter how minuscule it may be. It gives me purpose!! I am happy because EVERYDAY I learn something new!! Working here gives me purpose as said before, I don’t know how much more clear I can make it.
