He started his career at Simmon's Vet as a technician. On Feb. 6, 1998 Roy became a technician for VCA Wellington Animal Hospital and is still going strong in management. He has always had a love for animals. Since a child he has had a wide variety of pets from crayfish to reptiles to dogs. He currently has two dogs. After his children and family, animals is his next love that will never change.
In Roy's words:
Since I was young I wanted to be a vet, but life dictated otherwise. Even though I get along with almost anyone, I preferred to be with animals. As time went on I realized that I wasn't only helping pets. I was helping the people attached to them. Being there for the owners through good and bad brought me unexpected satisfaction and joy. Through out the years I have become very familiar with the families I help. This allowed me the opportunity to watch the 4 legged and 2 legged children grown. I know my clients and their pets very well and like the family feel it creates. To try make a difference in everyone's life and I do it with honesty and integrity.
