Lady's Care-Kim Lott from Crawfordville, FL
Pet Name: Lady Lott
We had a family pet named Lady after 12 years, she developed diabetes and cushings disease. Dr. Faith Hughes was always available with the many emergencies that Lady encountered because of her health. I cannot thank Dr. Hughes and all the staff at VCA Wakulla for their compassion and understanding with Lady and us as a emotionally devasted family. Lady lived for 2 1/2 more years after her diagnosis, last year Lady lost her battle and will be forever in our hearts.
My Dutchess-Elizabeth Allshouse from Crawfordville, FL
Pet Name: Clairanna
Dr. Hughes has been so good for my Clairanna, Dutchess of Crawfordville. She was a Rescue dog in 2005 and has come a long way in her 'attitude adjustment'. If you have a Cocker Spaniel, choose Dr. Hughes. She knows a lot about them and has helped me raise a healthier and nicer young lady.
Rusty's Home Away From Home-Helen from Crawfordville, FL
Pet Name: Rusty
Rusty is one spoiled kitty. He speaks with authority when he wants treats and love, the staff at VCA Wakulla have spoiled him even more. I know that I can leave him with them and he will be petted and handled (which he demands) and all of his needs will be met. He is save and happy until I return. Thank all of you for this peace of mind.
Expert care -- customer-friendly hours-Tracy from Crawfordville, FL
Pet Name: Jake
You can trust the care your pet will receive from the VCA Wakulla Animal Hospital professionals. Jake had been mopey for a couple of days and then suddenly developed a swollen muzzle. I called Wednesday evening hoping to make an appointment for Thursday. To my delight, cheerful Liz arranged for Dr. Chalker to see Jake that evening. Jake is on the road to recovery. Thanks, VCA!
Best Emergency Care Ever-Joe and Jennifer from Macon, GA
Pet Name: Macyjoe
We were vacationing in St Teresa area when one of our two poodles had too much fun on the beach and drank too much saltwater and became sick. We called the hospital and they let us talk to the vet and they STAYED LATE so we could get there that night. The staff were so considerate and Dr. Linda Chalker was super thorough to completely access our poodle's condition. She thoroughly examined her and treated her allowing us to bring her home where she recovered! THANKS Dr. Chalker for the excellent services. If we lived here - your hospital would definitely be our regular veterinary office.
Harley's Story-Jenna Brabham from Freeport, FL
Pet Name: Harley
We have a vacation home on Alligator Point that we visit fairly regularly. This past visit was quite eventful, to say the least! Our big girl Harley, was attacked by a bear late one night. We took her to the emergency vet in Tallahassee, but they were too expensive and not up to par, in my opinion. The morning after the attack, the staff at VCA Wakulla got Harley in immediately. Dr. Hughes was absolutely wonderful! I cannot express how awesome everyone was throughout the whole ordeal! From the front desk to the vet techs to Dr. Hughes herself, they made us feel like we had been going there for years! The service was outstanding and affordable. Four draintubes and several follow-up visits later, Harley is on her way to being her old self again! We will definitely keep them in mind for our "home away from home" vet!
Tarje' loves going to the doctor's office-Mrs. B. from Crawfordville, FL

Tarje' loves going to the vet - every visit is pleasant, and she is never stressed. She is looking forward to her next visit which is coming up very soon.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff at VCA for caring so much about our furry family members.
Saved her life-Elizabeth Allshouse from CRAWFORDVILLE, FL
Had no idea after my last testimonial how soon I'd need Dr. Hughes help. Clairanna had a tumor on the spleen and bladder that had to be removed immediately. So glad I check her out daily and how much she eats and drinks. We caught it in time, thank the Lord and Dr. Hughes. Now we have another dog that needed a home and has brought joy to our world. Clairanna is still thinking maybe it was a good idea, when she isn't pouting.
