Hi my name is Belinda Lizbeth Bazzell. I’m originally from Honduras but have lived in Crawfordville since 1999. I have a loving fiancé and a loving father. Over the years I have had many pets, I currently have a 5 year old lab/pit mix, and her name is Georgia. I don’t know what I would do with out her, she is my best friend. We also have a 7 year old Red nose pit-bull terrier J.D (Jack Daniels). Can’t forget about my boo kitty Wyatt, 3 years old, he is my alarm clock every morning. We just added a new member to our lil family, Effie she’s 8 moths old. She and Wyatt love to play. My pet’s are my kids and will always remain in my heart.
My occupation here at VCA Wakulla Animal Hospital is a receptionist. I am the first person a client talks to and the last. I didn’t start out as a receptionist though. On April 20, 2009 I was hired as a veterinary technician helping the doctors with their patients. Then VCA needed help in the kennels. So here I go becoming a kennel technician. It was totally different. I had a very good trainer. She taught me a lot of lessons and not just for work but that apply in life as well; in fact every one that I have work with has touched my life in one way or another. I loved working in the back; I got to take care of the pets that were sick or was just visiting for the day or a couple of days, show then that they are loved, taking then for walks, feeding or cleaning up after them. Now if you’re not very fond of cleaning poop, urine or vomit this is not the job for you.
Years went by and I started to help out at the front desk. Not long after that VCA needed a receptionist. So Karol put me upfront (note I’m not a morning person so for me to be all bright and cheerful is hard, thank God for coffee.) Anyways I’ve been here since. Love my job and who knows I might advance to a higher role. Never know the sky is the limit.

I have three pets, a cat Sammy (who rules the household!), a dog Bubba ( loves everyone and wants to be everybody's friend!), and a pig McLovin ( who is always up for snacks!) Overall these guys get along pretty well. No mater the species its how they are introduced.
