VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital

Leah Goulart, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine

Biography

Dr. Leah Goulart received her BS in Biology from Salem State University, where she graduated cum laude prior to attending vet school at Ross University in the Caribbean Islands. After graduating from vet school, she spent two years at a general practice in southern New Hampshire, where she saw cats, dogs, and small mammals.

Dr. Goulart has special interests in ophthalmology, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine.

If Dr. Goulart looks familiar, that may be because she was a valuable member of our staff from 2002 through 2007, when she left VCA Wakefield for vet school (she was Leah Dalton back then). Dr. Goulart lives north of Boston with her husband, son, and two rescued dogs: border collie mix Molly and pit bull mix Chloe.
